What Is Galamer 4mg?
Galamer 4mg Tablet is used in the treatment of mild to moderate vascular dementia which includes symptoms such as impairment of memory or judgment, changes in personality, abstract thinking in patients with Alzheimer disease. Galamer 4mg Tablet is a cholinesterase inhibitor which means that it works by increasing the production of a certain substance which is acetylcholine in the brain, which helps reduce symptoms of dementia in patients with Alzheimer disease. It should not be administered to patients with you have severe liver or kidney problems.
How Does Galamer 4mg Work?
Memory loss in Alzheimer’s disease occurs due to disturbances of signal transmission in the brain. Galamer 4mg Tablet is a cholinesterase inhibitor. It works by increasing the levels of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) involved in transmmission of nerve signals. This improves memory and thinking.

Driving = Galamer 4mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney = Galamer 4mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Galamer 4mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with end-stage kidney disease.
Liver = Galamer 4mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Galamer 4mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not use Galantamine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and blister foil after the letters EXP.
