Pangraf 1mg Capsule is an immunosuppressant. It works by suppressing your body’s immune response following transplant of an organ (eg. liver, kidney, heart). This helps your body to accept the new organ as if it were your own.
What Is Route Of Administration?
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pangraf 1mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Pangraf 1mg with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.

Amlodipine : The effect of Pangraf 1mg Capsule may increase if taken with antihypertensives like amlodipine. Inform the doctor if you have any symptoms of diarrhea, headache, and weakness. Dose adjustments or an alternate class of antihypertensives should be considered based on the clinical condition.
Carbamazepine : The effect of Pangraf 1mg Capsule may increase if taken with carbamazepine. Inform the doctor if you have any symptoms of diarrhea, headache, and weakness. Dose adjustments or an alternate class of medicines should be considered based on the clinical condition.
Live vaccines : You may be at the risk of developing infections if these medicines are taken together. Inform the doctor if you had received either of these medicines. Your doctor may postpone therapy based on the condition.

Do
Pangraf 1mg Capsule is used to prevent organ rejection in transplant patients.
It may take 3 to 4 months for the medication to work. Keep taking it as prescribed.
Your doctor may get regular blood tests done to check the levels of blood cells in your blood. Inform your doctor if you experience unexplained bruising or bleeding, sore throat, mouth ulcers, fever, or general illness.
Your doctor may monitor your kidney function regularly. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water per day to help with your kidney function.
Do not stop taking Pangraf 1mg Capsule without talking to your doctor first.
Don’t
Liver impairment : Pangraf 1mg is not recommended in the patients with a history of liver impairment. The concentration of this medicine may increase in these patients. The baseline of the liver function tests should be obtained before starting the treatment.
Kidney impairment : Pangraf 1mg is not recommended in the patients with a history kidney impairment. Close monitoring of kidney function is necessary. The dose should be adjusted based on the creatine clearance (CrCl).
Hypertension : Use with caution in hypertensive patients. Appropriate antihypertensives should be administered to control the blood pressure. Do not use medicine that may increase the potassium levels.
Hyperkalemia : Pangraf 1mg may increase the levels of potassium in the body and may increase the risk of arrhythmia. Close monitoring of potassium levels is necessary. Medicines that can increase the potassium levels like ACE inhibitors and potassium-sparing diuretics should be avoided.

Storage Of Pangraf 1mg
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Take the hard capsules immediately following removal from the blister. Do not use Tacrolimus after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and blister after EXP.
