What Is Syndopa Plus?
Syndopa Plus Tablet is an amino acid that is produced and used as a part of the normal biology of human beings, also in some animals and plants. Syndopa Plus Tablet crosses the protective blood–brain barrier as dopamine cannot. Thus, Syndopa Plus Tablet is used to increase the dopamine concentrations in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and dopamine-responsive dystonia.
How Does Syndopa Plus Work?
Syndopa Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Levodopa and Carbidopa which treats Parkinsonism. Levodopa is a dopamine precursor which gets converted to dopamine, a chemical messenger that controls movement in the brain. Carbidopa is a peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor which prevents breakdown of levodopa allowing it to enter the brain and increase dopamine levels.
