This Capsule, is used to treat dementia in patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s. Being a cholinesterase inhibitor, it functions by increasing the amount of acetylcholine that may help to reduce the symptoms of dementia such as changes in personality and impairment in thinking.

How Does Rivamer 3mg Work?

Memory loss in Alzheimer’s disease occurs due to disturbances of signal transmission in the brain. This Capsule is a cholinesterase inhibitor. It works by increasing the levels of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) involved in transmmission of nerve signals. This improves memory and thinking.

What Is Route Of Administration?

It does not cure Alzheimer’s but may help with brain function and doing daily activities.

Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach.

It may cause diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. Drink plenty of fluids to keep yourself hydrated while taking this Capsule.

Monitor your body weight regularly as both Capsule and Alzheimer’s disease can cause weight loss.

Driving = This Capsule may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Kidney = This Capsule is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Capsule is recommended.

Liver = This Capsule is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Capsule is recommended.

Storage Of Rivamer 3mg

Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not use Rivastigmine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Do not store above 30°C.
