Floslo 5mg Description

Floslo 5mg Tablet is used for the treatment of an overactive bladder, a condition characterized by symptoms such as a frequent feeling of a need to urinate, sudden urge to urinate, inability to control urination, leaking of urine, etc. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age.

Floslo 5Mg Tablet is the medicine for you if you always feel the urgent need to urinate or have a leakage of urine. It is a muscarinic receptor antagonist that helps to relax the muscles of the overactive urinary bladder and thus making it easier to control the urination.

What is Floslo 5mg Tablet?

Floslo 5Mg Tablet is not to be used if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. It is also not to be taken if you have liver problems, urinary and gastric retention, and if you’re taking potassium tablets. If you take medicines for the heart then it is a no-no.

It is taken with or without food orally. Continue using it without a break, even if you’re feeling better. It is important to complete the entire course of the medicine.

Uses of Floslo 5 mg

Floslo 5 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms. OAB is a collection of urinary symptoms, including frequent urination, urgent need to urinate, and inability to control urination.

How To Take Floslo 5 mg Tablet?

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Floslo 5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Side Effects of Floslo 5mg

• Dryness in mouth,
• Nausea,
• Constipation,
• Abdominal pain,
• Dyspepsia,
• Blurred vision

Warning of Floslo 5mg tablet

Floslo 5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Floslo 5mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Long-term use of Floslo 5 mg Tablet might reduce milk production, and cause constipation, dry mouth and urine infection in the baby.

Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Floslo 5 mg Tablet may cause blurred vision and sometimes sleepiness or tiredness which may affect your ability to drive.

Precaution of Floslo 5mg tablet

If you have an allergy to solifenacin or any other part of this drug. Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs. Make sure to tell about the allergy and what signs you had. This includes telling about rash; hives; itching; shortness of breath; wheezing; cough; swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; or any other signs. If you have any of these health problems: Trouble passing urine, glaucoma, or slow clearing of the stomach.

Reduces abnormal contractions of bladder.

Can take up to 4 weeks before you see an improvement in your symptoms.

Helpful in men with urinary symptoms caused by enlarged prostate.

Avoid caffeine, alcohol or carbonated drinks as they can worsen your symptoms.

Storage of Floslo 5 mg

Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children. Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
