Meprate 10mg Tablet In the female reproductive tract, hypothalamus, pituitary and mammry gland progestins blend easily into target cells, and bind to the progesterone receptor. When this happens, progestins decelerates the release of GnRH.

How to Take Meprate?

Meprate Tablet comes in the form of tablets in the strength of 2.5mg, 5mg, and 10mg. The tablet should be swallowed as a whole without crushing, chewing or breaking it. For ideal results, it should always be taken at a fixed time (approximately same time every day). Meprate tablets can be taken with or without food.

Bone mineral density – Use of this medicine may induce bone loss and may increase the risk of fractures. This risk is especially higher in patients with a known history of osteoporosis.

Other medicines – It is recommended to report the use of all your current medicines including supplements and herbs to the doctor before receiving Meprate 10mg Tablet.

Breast-feeding – This medicine is not recommended for use in the breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. Discuss all the risks and benefits with your doctor before taking this medicine. Your doctor may prescribe an alternative medicine based on your clinical condition.

Preacaution

Meprate 10mg Tablet is used for a wide range of menstrual disorders such as heavy, painful or absent periods, and endometriosis.

It may cause bleeding  or spotting in between menstrual periods. Let your doctor know if this occurs frequently.

Stop taking Meprate 10mg Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get severe headaches, stabbing pains or swelling in one leg, pain on breathing, sudden changes in your vision or hearing, or yellowing of your skin or whites of your eyes.

Use a non-hormonal method of contraception such as condoms to prevent pregnancy while you are taking this medication.

How to Store Meprate?

Store the medicine in a cool and dry place away from sunlight below 25-degree Celsius.Medicine should not be refrigerated. Don’t flush the tablet unless not instructed to avoid contamination of the environment. Keep it away from the reach of the children. Keep it away from pets.
