Suminat 25mg Tablet is a synthetic medication belonging to the the triptan class of drugs. It is used for treating cluster headaches and migraine. It works by narrowing the blood vessels in the brain which relieves headaches.Do not have this medicine if you are allergic to it, if you have a history of heart problems, a blood vessel disease, high blood pressure or liver problems.
How Does Suminat 25 mg Work?
Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation (swelling) of blood vessels in the head. Suminat 25mg Tablet works by constricting (narrowing) the blood vessels in the head, stops transmission of pain signals to the brain, and blocks the release of chemicals that cause nausea and other migraine symptoms. This relieves the migraine attack.
