What Is Candid Cream?
This is a popular medication when it comes to the treatment of fungal infections of the skin. Some conditions where the medicine is used include athlete’s foot, ringworm and jock itch. Apart from treating the infection, Candid Cream also reduces the symptoms of such skin infections, such as burning, itching and cracking of the skin.
How Does Candid Cream Work?
This is a combination of two medicines: Beclometasone and Clotrimazole which treat skin infections. Beclometasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi on the skin by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.
