What Is Donamem 10?

This Tablet is used for Dementia of the alzheimer’s type, Forgetfulness, Dementia of the alzheimer’s type, mental confusion, Moderate to severe alzheimer’s disease, Memory disorders, Impaired reasoning and other conditions. This Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

This Tablet contains Donepezil and Memantine as active ingredients.

This Tablet works by increasing glutamate in brain to decrease abnormal activity in the brain; increasing the levels of acetylcholine in the brain

How Does Donamem 10 Work?

This Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Donepezil and Memantine which treat Alzheimer’s disease. Donepezil is a cholinesterase inhibitor while Memantine is an NMDA inhibitor. Together, they balance the levels of chemical messengers in the brain and help in the transmission of nerve signals.

What Is Route Of Administration?

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. This Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Have difficulty in passing urine

Have liver or kidney problems

Have recently experienced a myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, uncontrolled hypertension
