What Is Galamer 8mg?

This Tablet is used in the treatment of mild to moderate vascular dementia which includes symptoms such as impairment of memory or judgment, changes in personality, abstract thinking in patients with Alzheimer disease. This Tablet is a cholinesterase inhibitor which means that it works by increasing the production of a certain substance which is acetylcholine in the brain, which helps reduce symptoms of dementia in patients with Alzheimer disease.

How Does Galamer 8mg Work?

Memory loss in Alzheimer’s disease occurs due to disturbances of signal transmission in the brain. This Tablet is a cholinesterase inhibitor. It works by increasing the levels of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) involved in transmmission of nerve signals. This improves memory and thinking.

What Is Route Of Administration?

The dosage and the drug form depends on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

Swallow the tablet whole, but do not crush or chew the tablet. Take the Tablet with or without food.

If you miss a dose of  Tablet, please take it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Do not drive or operate machinery as Galamer 8mg may cause drowsiness.
