How To Work

Jakavi 5mg Tablet is an anti-cancer medication. It works by blocking the action of the abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply. This helps to stop or slow the spread of cancer cells.

What Is It

Ruxolitinib is a targeted therapy. It is an oral receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Ruxolitinib works by blocking certain enzymes in the body that affect blood cell production. Ruxolitinib is a targeted therapy that targets and binds to the tyrosine kinase receptors and inhibits Janus Associated Kinases which mediate the signaling of a number of cytokines and growth factors that are important for hematopoiesis and immune function. By binding to these receptors, ruxolitinib blocks important pathways that promote cell division.
